Solomothers Discussion list
The solomothers list is provided by Single Parent Support Australia and hosted by the National Women's Justice co-alition via The Australian Virtual centre for Women and the Law
The list aims to facilitate discussion and exchange on issues affecting single
mothers in Australia. Such issues include but are not limited to: * social
policy * family law * child support * housing: income support * poverty *
parenting * sexuality & reproduction * women's and children's health
* domestic violence & post-separation violence and other issues affecting
single mothers.
Who is able to join:
This list is for those who support the purposes of the Single Parent Support Australia (see below) and are:
* single mothers and their children (including ex-nuptial
pregnancies, separated or divorced mothers, widows, relinquishing mothers).
* single parent organisations
* organisations providing services to single parents and their children
* friends and supporters of single mothers and their children
