Do you think single parents and their children deserve a fair go AND recognition of their strengths and achievements?

Do you want to change the myths which seem always to blame single parents and their children for every social problem of the day?

Single parent families contribute in many ways, such as: parenting their children come rain, hail or shine, contributing volunteer energy to schools, community  groups, kindergartens, play-groups. neighbourhoods and sporting groups, undertaking paid work across all fields of endeavour, from politics to the kitchen sink, being unique valuable human beings with energy, intelligence, creativity and hope!

Too often, instead of being recognised and supported to do the extra work of parenting alone, single parents are stereotyped, judged and rejected, and that’s something Single Parent Support Australia would like to see change.  We are seeking your contributions.
